Fibre is a complex carbohydrate which is not easily digested by the bird, but can add bulk to the feed and aid gut fill.
The breeding season can be stressful for birds and increases the risk of feather pecking and cannibalism, exacerbated by the feeling of hunger as a result of restricted feeding to regulate body weight.
On request, we can add a fibre product to your breeder rations. By doing so, this will increase the amount of time for the birds to digest the feed and so distracts them from feather pecking behaviours and leaves them feeling fuller for longer.
