Finalists announced for the ABN Innovation Award

Finalists announced for the ABN Innovation Award at the British Pig & Poultry Fair

Three finalists have been named in the second bi-annual ABN Innovation Award. The award offers a unique opportunity for entrants to demonstrate their flair for innovation, and to share their ideas on how we might tackle some of the industry challenges and increase demand for British pig, poultry or egg products.

The winner, who will receive £1,000 in prize money, will be announced on Wednesday 16th of May at 11.30am at the British Pig and Poultry Fair 2012, taking place at Stoneleigh Park.

“We have been really impressed with the quality of entrants, with a number of applicants demonstrating creative and entrepreneurial flair, as well as putting in a lot of hard work for the chance to showcase their support and ideas for the industry” said ABN’s Business Development and Supply Chain Manager, Nigel Lee.

“At ABN, we’re proud to support British agriculture, and continue to work collaboratively with the industry and our partners to support research and development that delivers real benefits to our customers.  By sponsoring the ABN Innovation Award and supporting RASE at the Pig and Poultry Fair, we hope that we can help to champion innovative ideas to ensure that the British pig, poultry and egg industries remains world class,” adds Nigel Lee.
